Door Opening and Messaging System Using GSM And 8051 Microcontroller
Abstract
Home automation is a process for improving the quality of resident’s life by facilitating a flexible, comfortable and secure environment. Home security system is the most prominent feature for home automation. Traditional techniques of alarm based security have gained much popularity in past decades. Nowadays, embedded system is designed to provide security due to tremendous improvement in microcontroller unit and widespread applications of GSM technology. This project presents a prototype security door. In addition to this the security will be provided using GSM in case of any unauthorized access. The main aim of this project is to provide security at homes, offices etc. The system when door is open as soon as it receives predefined message from the user.
