Advance Aircraft Anti-Collision System Using Zigbee Communication
Abstract
Radar is a system that uses electromagnetic waves to identify the range, altitude, direction, or speed of both moving and fixed objects such as aircraft, ships, motor vehicles, weather formations and terrain. The term RADAR was coined in 1941 as an acronym for Radio Detection and Ranging. The term has since entered the English language as a standard word, radar, losing the capitalization in the process. Radar was originally called RDF (Radio Direction Finder) in Britain.
The purpose of this system would be to detect obstacles that would be within its range. It would achieve it by use of ultrasonic transducers which would work on the principle of Doppler Effect. The transducers will provide output to the controller which will then detect if there is any obstacle. If there is any obstacle then the output will be shown on the PC in graph form using any software application platform (SAP).
