Abstract

In recent times, ensuring the safety and security of individuals, especially girls, has become a paramount concern. This project introduces a novel GPS and GSM-based personal security alert system designed to enhance the safety of girls by providing a reliable and efficient means of communication in emergency situations. The proposed system leverages the integration of Global Positioning System (GPS) and Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) technologies to create a robust solution for real-time location tracking and emergency alerting.

The system comprises a wearable device equipped with GPS modules for accurate location tracking and a GSM module for communication. In case of an emergency, the user can activate the alert system through a dedicated button on the wearable device. Once triggered, the system automatically sends the user's current GPS coordinates to pre-defined contacts through GSM communication. This allows authorized individuals, such as family members or authorities, to receive timely information about the user's location and respond promptly to the emergency.

The proposed GPS and GSM-based personal security alert system not only empowers girls to take control of their safety but also offers peace of mind to their families.
