Bank Locker Security System Using GSM Module and Vibration Sensor

Abstract

The increasing need for advanced Security measures in banking facilities has led to the development of a robust Bank Locker Security System using GSM and vibration sensors. This system provides real time monitoring and immediate alert notification in case of unauthorized access or tempering.

The proposed system consists of a microcontroller based architecture that interfaced with a GSM module and vibration Sensors. The microcontroller serves as the central processing unit, overseeing the real-time status of the bank lockers. Vibration sensors are strategically placed within the locker to detect any physical disturbances, such as tampering or forced entry attempts.

Upon detecting suspicious activity, the vibration sensor triggers the microcontroller to initiate a series of predefined actions. Simultaneously, the GSM module is activated to send instant notifications to predefined contacts, including bank security personnel and authorized locker holders, through SMS or calls. This prompt communication ensures a rapid response to potential security breaches, preventing unauthorized access and minimizing the risk of theft or damage to the locker contents.
